26-12-2017 “Improving Preschool Education in Georgia through Social Accountability Processes”.
 International Association Civitas Georgica in cooperation with Save the Children International Branch of Georgia By the support from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“World Bank”) under the Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA) started implementation of the project “Improving Preschool Education in Georgia through Social Accountability Processes”. Project aims at improving pre-school education monitoring systems in Georgian municipalities through collaborative, social accountability-oriented benchmarking activities. The project shall support state of Georgia to ensure compliance with following municipal obligations stated by the new law: (a) provision of preschool education and care services in accordance with state preschools service standards; (b) ensuring parent participation; (c) development of operational monitoring, evaluation and reporting system for the preschool education and care service in compliance with standards that leads to state authorization of services; (d) establishing effective relations with parents and community; (e) studying municipal needs to plan local resources and prepare a budget adequately. more

18-12-2017 The final conference within the project ,, Increasing pre-school education accessibility and support of the quality improvement of pre-school education in Georgia
 The final conference within the project ,, Increasing pre-school education accessibility and support of the quality improvement of pre-school education in Georgia ‘’ was held. Project partners from Poland, Georgian local government and central government members, as well as representatives from Polish Embassy in Georgia and international organization members attended the conference. more

18-10-2017 Simulated Council Meeting in Telavi
  In the frame works of the project ,,Improvement of the quality of civil society involvement in decision making process’’ Simulated council meeting was held in Telavi. School students took the roles of the Council and city hall representatives. They presented the actual issues for city of Telavi and discussed them according to the protocol. Students gained skills and knowledge for simulation during the summer camp conducted within the project. Simulated council meeting was attended by Telavi council representatives and project partners. more

School students took the roles of the Council and city hall representatives. They presented the actual issues for city of Gori and discussed them according to the protocol. Students gained skills and knowledge for simulation during the summer camp conducted within the project. Simulated council meeting was attended by Gori council representatives, project partners-Civitas Georgia and Agora CE and representative of Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Jan Cernik. The similar activities are going to be held in all project involved cities. more

14-04-2014 Project "Anti-flood early warning and prevention sistems in Geprgia"
On April 02, 2014, with support of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs the project: “Anti - flood early warning and prevention systems in Georgia: special focus on Kabali and Duruji rivers” 224PPR2014/M; started.
On April 03, 2014, the above mentioned project was introduced to the public in the National Environmental Agency.

15-10-2013 Trainings for Volunteer Firemen have successfully finished

By the support of the Polish Aid Civitas Georgica has successfully held trainings for volunteer firemen. Young volunteers from 3 municipalities of Georgia were given theoretical and practical tips and knowledge for prevention and management of emergency situations. Trainings for volunteer firemen were the part of the project ,,Cooperation for Development II-Management and Prevention of Risks of Natural Disasters in Guria and Samtskhe-Javakheti municipalities’’.
